About the book: Ray Lee is a communications engineer, a Wing Chun Kung Fu master, and the widowed father of two children. When Ray’s young daughter mysteriously vanishes, he finds himself with no one willing to help search for her except for a few unexpected individuals. As he digs deeper into the facts surrounding her disappearance, he discovers a much more complex and sinister presence lurking beneath the surface. With friends and resources in short supply and with time running out, he must race to uncover the truth, and in doing so, he discovers that much more needs saving than he ever imagined.

About the author: Brian S. Chan is a pastor, professor, painter, and writer. A graduate from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Th.M. and an M.A. and a graduate of Talbot School of Theology with a D.Min., he teaches classes on a theology of beauty and a theology of heroes and villains at Biola University. He is a first generation American-born Chinese and a practitioner of Wing Chun and Northern Shaolin kung fu. He is also a visual artist who has exhibited his work in shows in the San Francisco Bay Area, Chicago, Dallas, and New York City.
